On October 2^nd, Nevada Cancer Coalition will be hosting an event called Paint Nevada Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. It will be a family health festival focusing on increasing mammogram screening rates and promoting breast cancer awareness. In addition to breast cancer awareness, we would like to still promote overall family health at this event as well, and will have many other resources available. It will be located at Gary Reese Freedom Park (850 N Mojave Rd) from 1 pm to 4 pm. We will have low-cost mammograms at the event with Nevada Health Centers Mammovan, food trucks, games and activities, raffles, and Latino Mix radio station 99.3 FM.
